“I proudly served in the United States Navy as a Parachute Rigger 3rd class, contributing my skills to the defense of our nation. While striving to enhance my education and professional standing, I’ve encountered limitations with Scholarships and Grants. Unfortunately, the VA’s refusal to acknowledge my active service time and medical (No matter what I was exposed to), regardless of the hardships I faced, has posed obstacles. Determined to focus on something close to my heart, I’m channeling my artistic abilities to secure the funds necessary for my educational pursuits as well as provide for my family. Given the constraints of a Security Guard’s salary, expenses like tuition remain beyond my reach. My aspiration is to acquire the means for schooling, a goal I must achieve through self-initiated fundraising efforts. So, one must do what they can.”
